Our mission at STITCH is to bring textiles/fashion alive for a younger (20 years+) audience. We want to say goodbye to the days when the word "textiles" only makes you think of knitting and embroidery, and instead explore the profound connection between fashion and art. We aim to provide news, views and coverage of important issues within this sector, and hope to explore the idea of "wearable art" as much as we do abstract textile projects. A key part of STITCH's mission is also to promote up and coming textiles talent, thus we hope to interview students and give their hard work a spotlight.
